Montreal's Summer Institute 2009 - What's Working in Manitoba and Why?

The theme at the Centre for Literacy of Quebec's Summer Institute 2009 last month was Workplace Literacy and Essential Skills: What Works and Why? In her presentation to the nearly 100 participants gathered in Montreal, Sandi Howell (Provincial Coordinator, Essential Skills and RPL)  revealed the strategy, process and performance indicators for growing Manitobans' Essential Skill levels in the workplace. She also provided a spirited and insightful sketch of lessons learned.
