Jonathan Coté and Lindsay Laidlaw connect the dots in the Summer issue of the Canadian Apprenticeship Journal to show how WEM's Essential Skills solutions are the linchpin for one of Manitoba's key workforce development strategies: enhancing supports for apprentices and trades qualifiers struggling to overcome barriers to training, while at the same time increasing participation of under-represented groups in the trades.
